topic 2.2 - history of classification
This is a short one lesson topic that looks at how the classification of living organisms we use today was developed. In this topic there are numerous people who have played major roles in the development of classification methods but for this course we will look at just two people.
These two people we will look at are Aristotle and Linnaeus. Students will be expected to know the importance of what these two people did in the development of classification systems.
This topic will have a short PowerPoint presentation and a Word Find that students will need to write down the missing words to create a set of revision notes to place into their books rather than writing down all the information off the slides. The PowerPoint presentation and Word Find sheet is shown below. Answers will be put on the website after we have completed it in class.
